I used cotton of a 8/4 ply and a 2,75 or a 3 mm hook
If you choose for a thicker yarn your potholders or squares will be bigger
it is great to use some scrap yarn or left overs but be sure it is cotton, if you are going to use them as a potholder :)
Interlocking filet 25 by 25 windows
Overlay mosaic 51 rows by 51 stitches
